Testimonies:
Nagwa’s story is one of powerful redemption. After years of trauma, rebellion, addiction, and homelessness, she arrived at Pacific Garden Mission in one of the lowest moments of her life. She had searched for love in friends, relationships, money, and drugs, but none of it satisfied the emptiness she felt. When she walked through the doors of PGM, she heard the Gospel for the first time, and everything changed.
Christopher spent more than thirty years battling addiction, broken relationships, homelessness, and despair. A veteran and college graduate, he never expected his life to spiral the way it did. What began as casual alcohol use in the military grew into a long struggle with cocaine that cost him his home, his family, and his hope. Suicidal and spiritually bankrupt, Christopher eventually turned himself in at a hospital, and that moment led him to Pacific Garden Mission.
Sermon: ” Where Did Jesus Go When He Died?”: This sermon focuses on the strange and sobering events that surrounded the crucifixion of Jesus. Pastor Phil walks through Matthew 27 and highlights how the rejection of Christ by both religious leaders and the people revealed the darkness of the human heart.
