After suffering an abusive childhood Jessica found herself struggling with addiction and loneliness. Seeking a safe place to grow spiritually she came to Pacific Garden Mission with her new born daughter.
“I got a wake-up, and God opened my spiritual eyes to discern what was good and bad, how to be humble…”
“For thirtysomething years of my life, I used crack cocaine.”
“Things got out of control and I eventually dropped out of school…I was lonely.”
